I started my career in 1995 as the founding engineer at NetPlay, a San Diego internet gaming startup, right after earning my B.S. in Computer Science from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
Since then I've written BIOS code and Windows drivers, built set-top boxes for TiVo and Nagra, led desktop and web projects for Simpson Strong-Tie, and debugged plenty of other people's assembly along the way.
In my spare time I help run tools for the RepRap 3D printer community, contribute to the Haxe and OpenFL open source projects, and build synthesizers out of Atmel microcontrollers.
